I am breaking into first person to let you in on a secret:
It is my dream to write a novel. Specifically, I dream of becoming a romance novelist. This page will one day be used to promote my very own romance novel.
I read widely across the genre of romance, from the historicals of Ann Lethbridge and Louise Allen to the contemporary romantic comedies of Pernille Hughes. Exactly what my romance novel will look like is still uncertain. Will I write a Regency romance or something tinged with magical realism? I don’t know yet.
I am writing this to affirm my own dream and give it some sense of reality. This page is my promise to myself that I’ll keep going, keep planning and keep making starts. I’m not sure if this novel will be traditionally published or independently published by me. That isn’t important right now. What matters is that a romance novel is winding its way to you. Slowly.
